My
research interests are in the area of both basic and applied
research on weed biology, allelopathy, herbicide selectivity,
perennial weed control, invasive species, and integrated weed
management in field crops and turfgrass. My research has
been published in over 125 refereed journal articles or book
chapters, 450 abstracts and reports, and 80 extension and popular
articles. Also, my research collaborators and/or I presented
over 250 research papers at regional, national and international
scientific meetings. I have extensive international experience as I
traveled and participated as invited speakers in numerous
international conferences and workshops in Austria, Australia,
Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, England,
France, Hungary, India, Japan, Mexico, Nepal, Philippines, Poland,
