Well ladies and gentlemen, it is official. In a few months I will be packing up all my belongings into a U-Haul and making the famed trip down I-90 to central Massachusettes. The reason for this move is because of my acceptance to the UMass graduate program in physics. So I will be leaving behind the city I have called my home away from home for the past four years, and as my roommate from New York reminds me everyday, I am lucky. For as much as they dress it up and try to conceal it, Columbus, OH is in central Ohio. And Central Ohio, as anyone who has lived anywhere else in the country can tell you, is not the most exciting of places. It does have its moments, its fifteen minutes if you will, when things can get fun and exciting, but for the most part, Columbus is a typical Midwestern town surrounded by farms and cows. However, as much I love to make fun and complain about Columbus, there is much I will miss about it. After living in a place for a few years, there are definitely things that start to grow on you. So without further ado, here is a list for things I will miss about Columbus, OH when I leave next fall.
