B.A., University of Massachusetts-Amherst Commonwealth College (anticipated May
2010). [Current GPA 3.7, Dean’s List] Major in English with anticipated certificates in
Professional Writing and Technical Communication (PWTC), Creative Writing, and
Nonfiction Writing.

Software Knowledge:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, HTML,
Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, Macromedia Flash, Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe
InDesign CS4, and Adobe Framemaker 8

Work Experience:
Waitress, Helsinki Café in Great Barrington, MA; May 2008 – Present. Duties include
opening, closing, taking orders, serving, cleaning, taking phone calls, making
reservations, handling money, etc.
Gardener/Landscaper; Summer 2007, 2008.

Organizational – I am able to juggle a few jobs and manage finances so that I may

Research – As a member of the UMass-Amherst Commonwealth College I have learned
to conduct and complete research efficiently.
Leadership – I have been asked to TA for the UMass PWTC program in Spring 2010.

Languages:
English – fluent,
Spanish and Italian – some conversational/reading ability.

Interests:
Participating in creative writing workshops, playing the guitar, soccer, basketball, and
softball. Right now I am in the process of designing and collaboratively creating a
website for my Creative Writing Documentary class that will contain collective work
from the entire class.
